<Text>{🌌Mitsubishi ASX - Reliable SpaceShip🚀 LHD⚙️}</Text> Here, I'll add all modifications and the car maintenance🛠 Second owner from 12.12.2020 - car manufactured in 2011, sold in 2012 (was lucky to get in top complectation as it has a lot of rare benefits) *Manufacturer data*: - Engine Size: 2.0 L DOHC 16-valve MIVEC - Horsepower: 150 HP @ 6000 RPM - Drivetrain: Electronic 4WD system - Transmission: INVECS-III CVT - Safety: 7‑airbag SRS system with Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution body structure - top 5‑star⭐️ safety rating from Euro NCAP and ANCAP (seems valuable even on safe low speed lane when you're on the German autobahn without speed limit😅) The Best Benefits of This Model - 🖼 Panoramic sunroof🔆: It has built-in UV protection, ambient lighting along with an electric cover shade. - 🎵6.1 Rockford sound system: Comes with a subwoofer, a 6-disc CD/MP3 changer, a USB drive port, and a Type-C monitor for direct phone connection (supports Android DeX and iOS mirroring). -🗣 Rare quality voice control: You can actually switch tracks from the CD or USB by genre and style (like asking for "Rock" etc.) depending on your mood. Honestly, even current Siri or Gemini on phones don't support this well for local media. It also handles all the standard hands-free and phonebook stuff perfectly. - Full comfort and safety pack: climate control, cruise control etc. Even automatic hazard lights⚠️ on emergency stop🆘️ and glovebox conteiner mode switch lets climate control COOL❄️ drinks🧴 in summer and WARM🌡 them in winter. - Durable plastic front fenders(🦄unique thing - something I've never seen on any other car!): Because they are composite plastic, zero worries about front-end corrosion or door bumps. - 🌤🌧Full electric pack: Packed with a rain sensor, light sensor (very safe and convenient for tunnels), headlight washers, heated seats, electric folding heated mirrors, and electric windows all around. - Rearview mirror with back view camera🎥: Features built-in automatic electric dimming, which is incredibly useful for night rides because it instantly blocks out blinding headlights from drivers behind you. - 🔦Super-HiD "Wide Vision" Xenon headlights: These high-intensity discharge lamps provide an exceptionally wide 80-degree beam spread on each side, creating a massive 160-degree total arc that completely lights up the roadside. - Fog lamps with DRL: Clear front fog lights with integrated Daytime Running Lights. - 🚙Full 4x4 system: Comes with a proper differential lock and a solid 195 mm ground clearance. - 🔑 Keyless Access & Ignition System and Engine Start/Stop button 🛠Modifications - 🔒GSM security system🛰: Managed via a mobile app📲 and home screen widget for full "Smart Car" status. It lets you use remote engine start(heat🌡/cool❄️ car before you seat), run CAN diagnostics directly from the app(errors etc.), get low battery voltage alerts (sms, push notifications), track live car location, and view the full car events history📊. - 🛡Full anti-corrosion coating: Every single door, crevice, and hidden niche has been fully covered. I was actually preparing the car for a move to the UK, so it's built to handle damp weather! 😅 - 📺Type-C portable monitor: Allows direct connection for Android and iOS (DeX and Mirroring modes). It's honestly better than standard Android Auto, it displays apps without limitations like on second screen straight from your mobile phone while keeping it charged⚡️. - 💡Full LED light upgrade: Completely updated to crisp LEDs, including the rear lights and the front fogs with DRLs. - ⚙️ Tires pressure and temperature control system

📟🚗 OBD Computer - Real‑Time Speed and Data Without Taking Eyes Off the Road One of the first upgrades I added was the OBD‑II bus‑connected computer. The main goal was simple: 🧭 see my speed in miles clearly, instantly, and without distracting from the road on speedometer.🚦 With the UK dropping speed limits from 30 to 20 mph in many areas, you really need to keep your eyes open⚠️- those limits change and switch fast, the OBD Computer helps keep speed in check without constantly staring at the factory cluster and its possible even to set sound alert on specific speed limit🔊. ─── 🔧 What it shows (and why it’s useful) • Large MPH speed readout -perfect for new speed limits • Voltage monitoring • Coolant temperature • RPM gauge with colour zones • MAF, throttle position, ignition timing, O2 sensors • Brake test / speed‑up test modes • DTC scan • and many more extra data OBD‑II bus Everything updates in real time, right in your line of sight.

🚗🇬🇧 Preparing Car for the British Weather Before moving from Europe to the UK, I was honestly worried about the British climate - rain, high humidity, salty roads(update… funny to think about that now in 2026 during this endless summer heat wave 🔥😅) . So I decided to prepare my car properly before the move. 🔧 Full Anti‑Corrosion Protection I went through every vulnerable area and applied a transparent anti‑corrosion protection layer: • Inside all doors • Inside the rear door / tailgate • Tail‑light mounting zones • Hidden cavities and metal joints Every moisture‑prone area was sealed and protected. 💡 Tail‑Light area protection Tail‑light area is known to suffer from vibration scratches and moisture over time, so I added extra protection there too - no more rubbing. ─── 🛡️ Result After moving to the UK, the car stayed clean - no signs of any rust🙌

🔧📺 Upgraded Media Setup While Keeping the Original Rockford System Long story short - I wanted more functionality from the media system, but I genuinely love the original Rockford 6‑disc CD/MP3 changer. It works perfectly with the factory 5.1 audio system, subwoofer, and even the voice control module. 🗣 Rare factory voice control highlight: You can switch tracks from CD or USB by genre - just ask for “Rock”, “Jazz”, etc., depending on your mood. Even modern assistants like Siri or Gemini don’t handle local media this well. Plus, hands‑free calling and phonebook integration work flawlessly. So instead of replacing the head unit with a limited Android/CarPlay media sys, I added a Type‑C portable monitor with sensor support👈 for direct phone connection (Android DeX🤖, iOS mirror🪞). This gives far more freedom- essentially a second screen with no app restrictions, while keeping the phone charged. ⚡ What We Need for This Setup: • 🔌Powerful outlet (luckily this model has one 12V 120W under the armrest) • ➰️1 high‑quality USB‑C charging cable➰️ • ➰️1 full‑featured USB‑C cable for video + power (USB 3.2 / USB4 / Thunderbolt) • 📺 Portable Type‑C monitor with two USB‑C ports and with sensor support👈: •• USB‑C Power Input •• USB‑C Upstream Port with Power Delivery (PD) - sends power to the phone ⚡ and receives video 📺📱 How It Works: • Phone connects to the car’s Bluetooth automatically after ACC • Plug phone into the monitor’s USB‑C Upstream PD port • ✨ Instant DeX or screen mirroring, while charging at the same time. You keep full steering‑wheel multimedia control, see phone info on the Rockford stereo, and also control 🎮everything from the monitor’s touchscreen👈. 🎉 Full Functionality (especially on Android🤖): • Run two apps at once (Maps/Waze + music player) • Split‑screen, pop‑up view, multitasking • Launch Windows apps via emulators - Heroes of Might and Magic 3.5, Disciples II, etc. Perfect for parking‑lot entertainment while waiting for your wife 🙂

Adding a Little Personality: The Custom Startup Animation After swapping out the old halogens🕯 for LEDs🔦, I noticed the new DRLs down in the fog lamps felt a bit visually disconnected from the top half of the car - it just lacked that perfect aesthetic balance😁. To fix that and honestly, to just add a little bit of fun to my daily routine I decided to add a startup light animation. Call it a bit childish if you want, but I absolutely love it!😄 🛠How it works: The animation only triggers for a moment right after you start the engine to welcome you to the car. - Once you are out on the road, it stays completely static. - It’s not blindingly bright during the day either - it behaves more like a subtle sidelight or accent light rather than a harsh driving light or DRL. - It's purely there for the atmosphere, giving the car a better vibe.💫 Cheers 🖖 P.S. In the video, the car is starting remotely from the mobile app📲, so you can literally greet yourself anytime! It gives off total Knight Rider vibes - feels like I'm summoning KITT🚘 from the old detective show, it just needs the scanning red light now🔴.

🔧💡 Going LED - DRL&Fog light P1 Right after buying the car, I checked all the fuses and bulbs. The car was in perfect condition, but I still replaced a few fuses and the parking‑light bulbs with LED ones. But what really bothered me were the fog lights. Our Japanese friends, in the top trim, added both the relay, the wiring and the #DRL was implemented inside the #fog lights using just a brighter halogen bulb. 💡 From an aesthetic point of view it looked terrible, and from a safety point of view it was even worse: visibility with that kind of DRL is much lower.🔦 So I decided to switch to LED fog lights and LED DRL. ─── 🔌⚙️ Installation In my case, the replacement process was not rocket science - all the wiring and relays were already there, fog lamp disassemble is very straightforward. I just needed to choose the new lights and connect them. But for those who don’t have factory wiring and relays, I’ll add a diagram and the relay location (usually, if the relay is present, the wiring is present too). ℹ️ ─── ℹ️ Relay A-18X on the #ASX and A-21X on the #Outlander III (2013 model year) for fog lights, and A-27X on the ASX and A-10X on the Outlander III (2013 model year) for DRLs, connect via the same connector - A-52 on the ASX and A-33X on the Outlander III (2013 model year). ℹ️ ─── ℹ️ ☀️ Visibility Upgrade The car’s visibility on the road with Led DRL improved significantly. 🌒 And at night, the LED fog lights give much better illumination under the car, which is extremely useful during parking. ℹ️ Update: even after six years, the fog lamp and DRL are still shining bright! 🛣️ Stay Safe Wishing everyone good luck on the roads and safe driving🍀🚘

GSM Car Alarm system upgrade.🌏🛡 One of the absolute best mods I’ve done to this car is installing the GSM Alarm System. It basically turns the vehicle into a modern "smart car"🧠📊 and gives you total peace of mind right from your phone📲🛡. Here are the standout features that make everyday ownership effortless: • Mobile App & Widget Control🎮: Lock, unlock, track location, or start the engine from anywhere in the world🌏 and many more. With the phone widget set up, you can trigger remote start or check car status with a single tap. • Remote Pre-Heating & Cooling: Pre-heat the car on freezing winter days ❄️🔥, or cool it down when parked in the summer sun ☀️🧊 -getting it to the perfect temperature right from your phone before you even step inside! • Smart Remote Start (Low Voltage🔋 Safeguard): Incredible on freezing mornings, but even smarter when parked up. If the car sits for a while and the battery voltage drops low, the system automatically starts the engine🔌 to top the battery up⚡️. You’ll never walk out to a flat battery! • Live CAN-Bus Diagnosticsℹ️🛠: The system hooks directly into the car's computer. If any fault occurs, it runs a CAN scan and sends the exact error details straight to your phone app so you always know what’s going on under the bonnet. • And many more, even custom car an colour in app🔎 One of the best tech upgrades on the vehicle IMHO🙂!
